Hi All,
The L165 project has confirmed, my uncle's DNA does carry this rare Norse Viking gene or marker. The DNA is also a match to Roderick McNeil Chief of McNeil's of Barra who settled in Nova Scotia. I will be doing extensive research into this family to see where the Williams came in at.
This does confirm, even though the DNA markers are very close in matching, the Williams' are not Stewart's because the Stewart's do not have this rare Viking marker.
