Coat of Arms at Falkland Palace

I wanted to ask if anyone has seen the Duke of Albany Coat of Arms at Falkland Palace? It has a giant eagle and a 'Red Hand' in the centre. I have never seen this version of Murdoch or Robert's Coat of Arms any where else. Could these be a made up coat of arms or is it authentic?
