Our first event of the year was the traditional Burns Night Supper. In Toronto, it was held om Saturday, January 21, at the Granite Club . . . celebrating the 253rd Anniversary of the bard's birth. Full coverage is posted in the Events Section of our website for the Clan Ross Association of Canada.
I would like to see as many Clan Ross Canada members as possible at our Tartan Day celebration on April 12 in the magnificent Great Hall of Hart House on the University of Toronto campus. We expect to see a contingent of the 48th Highlanders pipe band present for our induction of John Fraser as Scot-of-the-Year. A full outline about John Fraser's contributions is located on the Scottish Studies Foundation website.
