Listening to the news is like riding a disco ball: dizzy from lights flashing GO, or STOP, or MAYBE . . . or would a roller coaster be a better simile: ups and downs and creeping crawls followed by screaming drops . . . and never knowing what is coming next: no security and no dependable news.
