  • Thoughts on a Sunday morning - 4th July 2021

    Good morning . . .

We are now into what is proving to be a very hot summer . . . but doors are opening and patios are serving, you can book to swim at the local pool and you can even get your hair cut! And people are lining up to get their shots and second shots and real hope is starting to return.

But the empty shops where we used to go are a sorrowful reminder of the cost that has been paid by those who invested their lives and their savings in a dream. Unfortunately, the cost is not paid equally across the boards. Those who work for the government continued to be paid whether they worked or not. And those who worked for themselves and employed others, have paid the ultimate price.

Do get off the Amazon wagon and back to the corner store. Lives and futures depend on our returning to our neighbours who staff them.

It is your history and that of your neighbourhood that is being written. Go to
and see my ideas on enhancing the memories that write that history.

    Blessings
    nnDnn
