Greetings . . .
Lent begins this Wednesday with ashes on our foreheads and prayers in our hearts that remind us of the wondrous successes of Jesus and the agony that climaxed it.
It is when we set aside time each day to consider our lives and our future . . . to reach out to God in prayer and petition and atonement. It is a very special personal time. Do take advantage of it.
Lent is the time of self-examination and mending fences, atoning for sins and setting expectations for the future. Just remember, expectation and results are not necessarily the same thing: and that works both ways. One can fail, but one can also exceed one’s own expectations. But you have to dare and do before you will know what you are capable of being and doing.
My thoughts on how you might approach it are at:
May the Lenten Season be a great blessing to you in this, and all the years that lie ahead.
