More and more we live in echo chambers . . . hearing only what we have heard before, voices that consolidate our notions, surrounding ourselves with ideas and ideals that align with our own.

This is dividing families, friends and nations. Where do we start in defeating such prejudices and becoming the defender not of our own positions but of the search for truth and harmony.

Greetings friends and foes . . .

At least that seems to be the way the world is dividing us these days. Either you agree with me or you are not merely wrong but evil.

And if there is one thing I am convinced of: that is wrong. Good people, with good intentions can disagree, can agree to disagree and still respect each other. But how in the world are we to ever reach that point if all we hear is the words of those with whom we agree?

May this year be blessed with a desire by all for harmony.
