The weather here is so deliciously delightfully pleasant.
Unbelievable that only yesterday we just endured the terrible heat.
There's a breeze outside my window by this computer.
The wonder of cool, soft gentle puffs of wind to act almost like a caress on my cheek makes me believe I must have dreamed the days of searing heat.
Yesterday I trimmed the burned and dead leaves off the Elephant ears and they almost look brand new. I did not realize their constant movement in the breeze would be such a pleasure. The proliferation of bulbs are evident and I will dig them to save for another location next year, maybe in a more shaded area. The bulbs are quite
expensive and will not survive outdoors unless heavily mulched,
sometimes not even then. Therefore, I will simply dig them and put up in the herb room for planting next spring.
