Old Dog Tray

Old Dog Tray is stretched out in the sun
Another winter his old soul has won.
Yes, didn’t you know of the scripture
Telling that even the animals are sure
Their noble loyal hearts are a soul
So without reason or voice we are told
Through acts of brave sacrifice they give
More than once so we, their master, can live.
