Very good detail, and much better than some of the jerky, grainy footage you often see from this era.
My father wasn't born until 1912 in Glasgow, but I imagine scenes like this must still have been very familiar to him as a boy.

It certainly has excellent detail as John noted, it's always interesting when footage such as this emerges from the archives.:cool:
As to the familiar scenes; why not ask Elda...............some may be known to her..............she has been around for a year or three..:tongue: :wink:

MY father was born in 1914 in Glasgow. He used to tell stories of going to the ice shop as a boy and being able to pick up we shards of ice to eat, He also used to go to the biscuit manufacturer and could get a bag of broken biscuits for a farthing. I do remember lots of stories he used to tell as a boy growing up around Glasgow.
