I have been hunting for information on the Scots in England. As we have whole books and even multi-volume books on Scots in various parts of the world it seems that Scots in England is a bit of a closed book.
I did find an article in which I read...
Scots MPs also served abroad – in the period 1790-1820 a staggering 130 Scots were MPs representing seats in England and Wales.
That is an amazing figure for sure and it hints at a major untold story about what Scots did in England and Wales.

After much searching I think I might have found a book published in 1935 about Scots in England and have ordered it. Should it be worth while I will ocr it onto the site.
