I've started to add this book to the site and am doing it by scanning in pages instead of ocr'ing it in. The reason for that is the copious footnotes some of which go over a couple of pages. I would say that footnotes can be very useful as they often refer to other publications that are of interest. The book states that this town can be traced back to AD 322 so obviously a very old town.
