Stuart and his father have been participating in the Markinch Remembrance Day Services for many years. This past two years, Robbie and I have had the honour to participate.
The Scots put on a very touching yet conservative service. The patriotism in Scotland is different from the States but not in a bad way. They have a more solemn service which gets right to the Heart of the Issues, our Veterans.
I am so honoured to get to participate in this service. We have a wonderful minister Alex who does the service. I recommend a Scottish Remembrance service to any who have the opportunity to attend.
