Targa Tasmania 2010 Queenstown, Evans Evo X
Dean Evans & Simone Bachmann tackle the tricky Queenstown stage of Targa Tasmania, 2010, in their Mitsubishi TMR Evo X Club Spec. A rain storm minutes before they were due to start meant the stage was extra slippery for the top 10 cars in the field.

EBC Yellowstuff Brakes in Targa Tasmania Rally 2008
This is exciting .....Targa Rally Prologue 180 KM/Hour plus a new record 3.13 in using EBC Brakes. This is the toughest test ever on brakes, tarmac, slick tyres, repeated braking every 200 metres from speeds most people have never seen .One mistake or brake failure here and you're in someone's front garden with a lawnmower wrapped round your neck. Incredible scenes to watch. Well done to Matt and Casey Close the driver and nav.

Re: Targa Tasmania 2010
Are the powers that be, going to stop this madness, before a house (or houses) is (are) demolished, and those people inside killed ?
You only have to look at Mark Webber's recent F1 accident, to see the kinetic energy stored in a car, enough to miss the garden and hit a house....... perhaps even one in the next street !
No 'wall of tyres' to stop the out of control car....... did you see the speed at which Mark hit the tyre wall ?
