“The driver of this truck ignored signs stating that the Forth Road Bridge was closed to all vehicles except cars due to high winds on 28 December 2011.
This clip shows why restrictions during high winds are necessary!”
The video also shows how vehicles to the rear of the truck came very near to collisions when breaking. One, which looks like a small vehicle with trailer, has the latter at an angle, is if it was near to a 'jack knife'.
Also those on the other side fast lane must have thought the trailer might come over onto their lane.
Having looked again at the video, there is no doubt that at least 5 of the vehicles following the truck were involved in collisions !
