I look back..

Hello everyone,

I have been looking back at some of the original parts of Electric Scotland. Remembering our friends who have now since past....

Through good times and bad, we can come here to share or vent. We may not say a word or we may say many (points at myself) but we are still here for each other.

When I finally found the forum again after being gone so long, I had been through some great turmoil, much of which the old timers were aware of and nothing the new comers were aware.

I did slip into a major writers block after Bill fell ill but I finally realised, I must pick myself up by my boot straps. I made a wrong judgement call on this recent story.

I am still continuing on to become self employed. My drive and ambition has recovered by 50%. The failure I have had with the latest story only made me realize, I CAN do better, just look at all of my old stuff.

I will continue to strive towards the writer I once was! This is because you are here to read it!

Maybe some where along the way, I may find a sweetheart and be able to move on but if not, it is God's will!

Thanks everyone for allowing me to make a complete fool of myself!

You sure did but it is gone now! I set out to help a good man with a fund raiser and learn about his lifestyle and it was twisted and turned partially because He who must not be named, was very insulting. I took it personally. Now it is all over, I found out I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I have also said I better not write any more because of this HUGE mess.

I have learned two things from this, anyone can be hacked through Facebook or any public chat forum when you are online and second, print everything off right away, do not store it on your computer. You can also have a complete seperate hard drive which I am going to purchase!

I have an external hard drive and each Sunday I do a system image backup onto it. Recently when I lost the boot sector of my internal hard drive it looked like I would lose everything and have to reformat my drive and then re-install all my programs. However by booting from the Windows CD I was able to restore the system from the last image backup and I really lost hardly anything. All my programs worked fine and I lost hardly any data and only for the last few days.

I leave my computer on overnight and thus schedule the backup to go each Sunday at 2am.

Thank you because two other pictures are gone as well that were in a complete separate folder. I will try it to see if I can find what I am missing.
