A Tale O' Twa Stanes
Lia Fail, Scotland's Stone of Destiny is the ancient crowning stone of kings, situated at Scone, once the capital of the kingdom. King Edward of England saw it as a great symbol of Scottish independence so he sent his knights to steal it and carry it away to London.
Scone Abbey had no defenders and it would be as easy as picking it up and taking it away without resistance.
Two men of Scone had other ideas...
