Some of you may know that i was born and raised up until i was 6yo on a farm called Balvormie East Lothian, now a part of what is called Beecraigs.
Before we left for Australia, i had my photo taken next to a tree at Balvormie, that still stands to this day 50years on.
My Daughter has just returned from a holiday in the UK and Europe, and managed with my sisters help who still lives close by to get a photo of herself at the very same tree 50 years later.
I shall post a photo of myself 50 years ago and the recent one of my daughter, as soon as i can.
It's nice to know, with all the construction and development going on there and all over the world, a tree can still resist the evergrowing need for development.
