This is Scotland was Scottish Television's first ever broadcast in 1957. This remarkable black and white archive programme was hosted by James Robertson Justice and celebrated Scotland in superb tartan style,with kilts,pipes and music a-plenty. The cast featured many of Scotland's most well-known names in the 50's - James Robertson Justice,Deborah Kerr,David Niven, Ludovic Kennedy,Jimmy Logan,Stanley Baxter,Kenneth McKellar,Alistair Sim,Moira Shearer,Ross Taylor,Sheila O'Neill,Andrew Keir,The Starlets,The Mitchell Singers,Geraldo's orchestra,The Clyde Valley Stompers,The Rock'n'Roll Sinners

Quite long at 54 minutes but well worth watching for the historical content and seeing once again all those old names from the past :smile::cool:
