Seems to me that this has been around for quite a while...
Certainly targetted so far in the US.

I also notice the guy rings on a standard mobile phone where numbers represent 3 letters of the alphabet. I have a smart phone with a qwerty keyboard. Dialling the number shown 1-800-G00G-411 on my phone you get 1-800-5OO5-411.
