  • Sounds of Scotland

Andy Mack was born in Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He spent the first few years of his life in the NE of Scotland with the Doric, and developing his wry sense of humour. Andy grew up in Ayrshire in the heart of Robert Burns Country, where he developed his love of Scottish music and the unique humour of the Scottish Culture.

When most teenagers were listening to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, Andy was tapping his toes to more traditional tunes. The White Heather Club and Thingamajig were among Andy’s favourite TV Shows.

A Dairy Farmer for many years, Andy farmed in Scotland, Canada, and the USA. In 2002 Andy returned from the USA to Canada to channel his enthusiasm in a new direction.

For many years he has been involved in many Scottish Events, both nationally, and internationally.

Andy wears the kilt with great pride and exuberance as he acts as an MC at Scottish Events near and far.
