The 2011 Longs Peak Scottish/Irish Highland Festival's 35th year will be held in Estes Park Colorado between Thurday September 8 and Sunday September 11, 2011.
This festival has grown from a small 1976 get together of a few families to celebrate their family roots over sack lunches. The festival has grown into a world class event that has seen in excess of 70,000 spectators over a festival weekend. Competative events include piping, jousting, scottish and Irish Dancing. The festival includes a clan row where visitors can obtain information on the various Scottish clans and septs.
