Am I likely to be upgraded with Singapore Airlines?

Hey, thank you for taking time to read this!

I'm flying from Auckland, NZ to Manchester, UK next month. There's two flights to this journey - Manchester to Singapore, Singapore to Manchester via. Munich.

I'm just thinking about whether I'm likely to get upgraded. Recently, a family friend flying with a different airlines was upgraded to business class when she was just about to board; I'm hoping I'll be as lucky!

So I'm travelling alone and I'm 16, which makes me a 'minor' so I'm hoping this could work in my favour.
