Are you OK Gordon. Heard about the floods in Penguin and various other places in Tasmania. Seems like the whole world is flooding. Hope you aren't affected.

Hi Elda,
All hale and hearty down here, in Penguin the main problem was the creek that flows down to the edge of town and into Bass Strait,backed up with a high tide and excess water coming down from some overflowing farm dams, some damage here and there but nothing compared to what was experienced in Qld and NSW and now Victoria. a bit further South West they are having some problems,Latrobe, Deloraine and those where there are rivers and creeks close by. In Penguin today it is fine/sunny with a strong wind blowing,should be fine for the next few days.

It seems that precipitation in one form or another has run amok this year. I don't recall a previous time when precipitation has created so many disasters in such a short time. And these disasters are of biblical proportion. What's next, Armageddon?
