  • Explosion at south end of Loch Lomond

I have been following the BBC news about the explosion, and just hope that the investigation does not reveal anything sinister.

Time will tell...... I know the area very well, as I have a very good friend, who lives there.

I've also been following this in the Scotsman newspaper (http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/scot...ers.6633253.jp) and it definately sounds serious. I suppose one expects this sort of thing these days, but there must be a special spot in that very hot place for any who would defile Loch Lomond!

Experts fear Loch Lomond blast is linked to terrorism.

POLICE are continuing to scour the site of a mysterious woodland explosion for clues as speculation grows that the blast was the work of terrorists.

Police officers continued to comb the area in Garadhban Forest at Gartocharn, near Loch Lomond yesterday following the explosion on Wednesday

Just a dumb question? Are there old WWII bunkers in the area of the bomb? I had a very strange dream about two months ago, is the only reason why I ask.
