Alastair, sorry to learn about your injury and hope it is not to serious.

Why not setup 'Speech Recognition' that comes with MS Vista and 7 ? It is not as fast as your typing, but would let you give the hand a rest rather then make the injury worse.

Hi Al, sorry to hear about your mishap. That is a great suggestion from Ranald. However it may take you quite a while to "Educate" the system to recogise your accent. Unless of course you have now cultivated a Canuck accent~~
