I will be in Brisbane for 1 week on Wednesday. I was thinking about hiring a car as my son's car is in getting fixed so I had a look on the internet. Found a small car (Getz) for only $163 for the week. Couldn't believe that price as last time John and I hired a car up there it cost more than twice that.
I've also booked another flight in May as Jetstar had and Australia Day sale with flights to Brisbane and return for $35 each way. Wont get any cheaper than that. The one coming up cost $49 each way which I thought was good.
