Our daughter Catherine leave for the US tomorrow, it has been quite a countdown on her part. She flys to LA and meets up with Contiki tours doing 3 tours of the US and Canada for 2 months. Tour 1 is most of the southern states, tour 2 is most of the northern states and a separate tour around NY then into canada, although canada will be a brief visit.(Montreal, Quebec areas) i think.
Next year, Sue and myself will be visiting the UK for a month, around May to beat the Olympic crowd. We intend to fly to London and hire a car and travel around England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland. Time permitting, a trip on the train to Paris in the tunnel.
I think i'll start packing now!
