Hi, this is probly the month Wales either gets or does not get its Alec Salmond. It is leadership election time for Plaid Cymru, Wales equivalent to SNP. Trouble is there is only January for new members to join. Since LEANNE WOOD entered the race before Christmas new members have been pouring in, but there is need of hundreds if they are to beat the front runner, Elin Jones. Leanne is the best potential we have in Wales being young, dynamic, radical, green and red, a visionary speaker. She 'gets' peak oil and the need to plan long term. Anyway just thought I'd draw this to peoples attention in Scotland b'cos dyou know you can join Plaid Cymru if you want, but it has to be before jan 25, then you can vote her in - or any other of our leaders, we are happy I am sure to have your kindred spirit at our side. thanks for hearing me out.

It will be interesting to see how they fare in the next elections given the overall majority that the SNP gained.
