Just a few words from another newby....I am very forgetful when it comes to posting "likes" or "thank-yous". I read someones comment about the site being slow and I wonder if the number of threads/topics might be a reason. And I have a wee story going but might not add to it for a few days, a bit pushed for time but will return to it for sure,
And posted here because I thought that this thread would be most approriate.

The speed tends to be dependent on where you are coming from. There is a dos command "tracert" which will let you see how many connections you have to make to get to our site. So if you typed in "tracert electricscotland.org" it would show you the route it takes over the Internet to get to our site.
