We sure are getting a bit of a heat wave these days.

I was messaging with Beth Gay and she was telling me that her air conditioning has gone down the tube and it's very expensive to fix it. Her advice...

Go pet your AC unit! See if wants treats...scratch it behind its ears....keep it happy!

It's about to get hot here..the weatherman says 26deg C on Saturday..that's getting to around 80in F, and we are in the middle of winter! Which reminds me, i should get our AC serviced before summer...

It's hot here and has been since summer started.
The talking Heads say " it's hottest summer since they kept the records".
We have the A/C on now ~ it's 11:30 AM.

Texas is so hot and dry, the dogs are chasing fire hydrants and the fire trucks are out of water. !! 100*f.. The town in California where we lived in the lat 80's is now burned from wildfires...

Well, the ladies in Texas would say "we're glowing." In Oklahoma I'm telling you
working outside made my shirt and shorts wet, and that rhymes with. .
that word.. . . .sw..., and I don't mean sweet.

I complained that the hillside was ever on my frustration list with its clay properties in this heat, which is dry and hard.
One of my readers gave me a suggestion: "Bundle it up and send it to a potter!"
Ha!

Oh yes, In Oklahoma it is rather warm, 102 on the heat index, whatever that means.

Laffin at the above quotes! We love to go to Aberdeen for the amusement carnival on the beach well across the road from the North Sea. The kids just love the log ride, even when it is only 40 degrees! I prefer the Oil and Gas museum and The Knox Church.
