Mothering Sunday

It is Mothering Sunday here in the UK. It has been hijacked by Hallmark and is commonly referred to as Mothers' Day. The real meaning has been discussed here many a time.
Anyway Happy Mothering Sunday - even if you did not visit your Mother Church today~~
I broke with tradition and bought the Boss some flowers. Must be getting old. or influenced by Greetings Card companies.

May 10 is Mother's Day in Canada (and USA) this year. My mother never tired of reminding us that every other day of the year was "Kid's Day".

Hi Rick, yes I know that. It is the Sunday 'around' my birthday and Fathers' Day is around my younger son's birthday. So we had good 'reminders'.
