Just copied this off, & got a few answers! #1. "Block of time", #5. "I'm pushed to the limit", #6. "Pete & repeat", #8. "eggs are cheaper by the dozen", #10. "well underway", & #12. "fruitcake" or "birthday fruitcake".

I like #1 as an alternate answer, and the same for #5, and #6. Where did the eggs come from in #8? #10 and #12 are spot on. Good show Joan!

You gave me a bit of a hint. #8 is "cheaper by the dozen". #2 is "tar & feathers". #7. is "have some laughs."
