Yes, one has to get up pretty early to get ahead of Ranald! All I can add before it's too late is #8 - Blanket.

Looks to me as though I've been left at the roadside!!! The hardest ones are still left! J

Looked at them, & have an answer for #3 "it's all for nothing". #4 just might be "clouds"

Rick, you are correct on #8. Joan I put your #3 down as an alternate answer to the one Doug has. Your #4 answer is close but Doug has another answer in mind.

I've left EM55 up for the rest of this week to see if some progress can be made since only half of the puzzles have been solved and I think the regulars can do better than that. Maybe some newbies might try.

Hey, all...I think that #12 is "Happy face HA", OR "Happy face with no smile", & am getting something to do with "blue blood due" on # 7. On #11 could it be "double gravity"? On #5, I get an impression, i.e., "a wicket between two goal posts", & on #10 I think that the FR might be France, but can't get the B part!!??? Posting these to see IF someone else can do it any better! J

Great answers Joan but unfortunately no success. Is the LA high or low in #12, how many ITY are there in #11 and in #10 what could the equal sign be? Answer those questions and you may have some answers. Keep up the good work!
