Hello, Hugh & all...For once, I'm actually home! I have a few "guesstimates". #4 is "no time for tears", #8 is "torn asunder", #10 is "green light means go", Or "Big green light".
Agree some of the others are really tough! Tks, J

I'm with Joan on $4 and #8, and would go with just "Green Light" for #10. I'll add #1 - Looking Forward, #2 - Looking Backward; #3 - Goods Under Warranty; #5 - Growing the Capital or Increasing the Capital; #7 - Lincoln; #11 - Nut. I'll need my sunglasses to look at #12.

Brilliant start by Joan & Rick. #5 is close but not quite right Rick. I'll give you #11 Rick although there are more than one. And #10 was just the green light. That leaves #5, #6, #9 & #12 (for Ranald?).

#9 might be easier if you know that 'teen' is an age. #12 is actually very simple if you follow the rules. I see that #5 is very taxing for you.
