HI, Hugh, etal...I just got this printed off, & here's two answers....#4 "close encounters", #7 "look inside". Just got another!! "#6 is "asinine".

I'm with Joan on 4, 6 and 7. Then #3 - Criminal; #5 - Who's In Charge; #8 - Down in the Dumps; #9 - Nowhere in Sight; #11 - Gathering Storm; and #12 - Illuminate. I thought maybe "Missing Link" for #10 but can't place the "H".

I agree with Joan's and Rick's answers - I'll just add #1 "Punch and Judy" and #2 "High and dry" for my tries. Still mulling over #10. Cheers, J.

Hi, Hugh.....Yes, it did work! Although can see why Ross put it in the way he did. After G, one says H, I, then it's J. Perhaps he thought it would be easier to see, as it was originally written. Tks, Joan

It's possible Doug was observing the rules for forming anagrams, which say that it's permissible to add, remove or change one letter to make the solution a bit more challenging. - J
