The Scriptures contain much helpful guidance - chapter 14 of Mathew is enlightening.

John, I feel very stupid, as even with help from Hugh and yourself, I am still lost for the two answers.

#5 walking on the water, and #11 the Star or Fairy, but neither of these fit the clues by Doug.

Ranald, you are anything but stupid - eleven out of twelve all on your own is fantastic. I know it's not my place to suggest the answers, but I believe with a little embellishment (or decoration) your #11 is very warm. Great job! - cheers, John.

I have never heard the word in #11, but had been on the other side (1939 - 1945) 'they vood huave vays of mayking mee know'.

Nor do I see the answer in the clue for #5.

In #5 the letters go from H to O, that is water chemically (H2O).

Hi Hugh, I did get the H and O for water, and saw that it was a sequence of alphabetical letters, but did not see the 'from and to'.... silly me.

I still did not get an answer to my question about redrawing #11 since Doug's answer was O Tanenbaum instead of O Tannenbaum. The clue is not accurate as it is (boataunm) and I would make it a little easier with "baOTannum". What do you think?
