Ranald your #10 is exactly right. The others are so close that I could give them to you but I wont since the clues are clear enough for the exact answer.

Hi Hugh, I was not sure of the two answers, but looking again, #1 "One potato" and #5 "Out on bail" #8 "No settle for less".
Also #9 " Be down sleeping" (?), #11 "Wonderful"

Hey to all...Evidently I forgot that today was Sunday!!! Just printed off...#1 is "potatoes", #4 is "higher learning", & #8 is "don't settle for less".
Ranald again got the jump on me, but I'll continue to work on the others! Also, #9 is "sleeping bag". Just got it!!
