At last...I'm ahead of "the pack"....#1 is "terminator", #2 is "you are out of control", #12 is "head over heels in love", #11 is "Rest out of peace", and here's a slight guess...#3 is "question without end", #6 is "common sense".

Hi all - thanks to Joan for solving #4 and preventing me from posting yet another silly answer - although this one might be just as silly: #10 "Drop earring".
I also thought of: #3 "A pointless question", #5 "Odds and ends", and #7 "A knotty problem".

Come on people, there are 4 more to solve #7, #8, #9 & #11. #8 is so easy I'm surprised no one has it yet. That is a very long E in #9. If you saw #11 on a tombstone you would say .................
