Ranald... I had the same problem with over easy when I first came to America. I found you cooked the fried eggs and then flipped them over in the frying pan to cook the top a little but still keeping the eggs runny and then serve. In Scotland we used to just spoon oil over the yolk to get them the same way.
I also has a problem with biscuits. Like when ordering breakfast I'd be asked if I wanted biscuits with that and I'd just say no thanks thinking why would anyone want a sweet chocolate or other biscuit with their breakfast. I eventually found out their biscuits were our scones.
HI, Guys...As you know, today is our 4th of July, which is supposed to be a holiday. I've been out in the warmth cutting grass. Also worked a bit on genealogy today again!!! I don't know, but I have #1 as "nurse", #4 as "Be Honest", #5 as "financial", #6 as "searching high, searching low", #7 as "seven seas", #9 as "two eggs over easy", & #3 as "teapot", #11 is "he's in 7th heaven" . That's all for now. Basically, I am working so hard, I almost forget to eat!! Cheers,
Hey, Ranald....You never know just what a purse, or hand bag will look like!!! That was a kind of "old" looking style of handbag. You're so young, and you're a fella, so you didn't recognize that~~~ Glad to get on here once more...at least for a bit. Joan
