Yes it is, I'm talking about "Clectic Thunder" I had the DVD playing while I worked in the office, it makes the place seem full of cheer, which is good.
I can't really say a certain song is better than another, they all have a heart thumping moment.
I know, as he sings the song "My Old Man" my thought's go back to me own Da, and if ya had a father that was your buddy, then of course the song will lay a tear in the eye to slip away down the cheek. ...... I miss my Da still, and he's been gone awhile. (God rest his soul.)
I had hoped when my times comes I could be piped into Heaven by a fine looking Scotsman, in the Lewis, or even the Given's Tartan,........ can't think of a better way to go...... I was also thinkin' to slide sideways into my grave shouting something like "Open the Gate Lord I'm headed Home." .......but then that may not go over very big with the Church crowd .......do ya think?? Lol.
Oh well, I'll never be able to please them all, may as well do it, an' please myself. <bg>
Was gonna mention that I must go back to the eye clinic, at the end of this month to have the eye surgeon replace the lens that didn't take when he put it, in the eye nearly 2 weeks ago. The other eye is doing great, I can see way down the road.
Hopefully it will work this time, and I won't have to wear glasses to drive, only wear them to read the fine print in any leangthy contracts they may come up for bounty hunting. <bg>
OMG! The DVD is gonna play again. I can't help but wonder why Irish music and the sounds of the Highland Pipes cause the heart to swell, and little tears to fall. I really never thought my heart a tender place, but then maybe since growing older I seem to be paying more attention to the sounds of sentiment.
Good Grief! It looks as if I'm trying to write a book. I don't get to come here to often so I have to tell it all in case I don't get back here for a while.
I doubt Papa Bear cares, whether I write a book or not, ..... just so I write..........he's a grand fellow isn't he? Always watching out for us, especially ol' granny ladies like me ownself. <bg>
Ya'll take care now, and keep a light in the window, so I can find my way back.
hugs and 'God's Speed' to one and all. ........ gee-gee
