Ranald has just sent me an email. Jean is very ill with cancer in many places of her body. I thought it appropriate to let all the old-timers know.

My prayers are going out to Jean and her family.

I spoke with Al yesterday, and was told that Jean is very peaceful, and is slipping away.

Family are supporting Al, in what I understand to be the final days.

I have passed on to Al and the family, the thoughts and prayers, of all Jean's friends.

I will keep you advised.

At 10:0 this morning. I received a message from Jean's daughter Linda saying, that her mother has passed peacefully away, two hours before.

I have replied saying that I will let you All be advised, and that those that knew Jean, would have their thought and prayers for Al and All the family..

Just to say that I have just spoken to Al, who asked my to pass on his, and the family's appreciation for your thoughts and prayers.

Al tells me he is 'doing OK' by keeping himself busy.
