Happened to come across this person, John Kay, who is a Scot and economist and liked some of his views. I thus decided to post up a page about him which you can read at http://www.electricscotland.com/hist...er/kayjohn.htm
I did email him asking if he could provide a copy of his review of the financial sector and got in a pdf file of his report which I've attached to this message.
In short he's encouraging a longer term view of investment and a better way of remuneration rather than these huge bonuses.
