  • King Crow and the Ladies from Hell

    This is what young people in small-town northern British Columbia, Canada get up to after a hard day working in the saw mills. They've been playing together for a few years but this is their first polished video, tho' there is a lot of poorer quality stuff on YouTube. The fellow in the kilt normally pipes them onto the stage, and the girl in the red coat in the video (with accordion in the photo) can make extraordinary magic on a penny whistle. Jamie, the fiddler is incredible. They rocked our socks off at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George a couple weeks ago and are a going concern on the local folk scene. Just good fun!

          Hey, Rick, etal...Just one small question, in regard to their picture, what do they "do" with the rifles??? Couldn't help it!

            Hey Joan, I think the rifles are just to keep the bears away from the concerts ... at least I've never seen one hanging around the stage, unless it was dancing.
